It was a set of rules which were converted from a Wild West Skirmish set. I recall painting up some 54mm Airfix French guardsmen and British infantry for a game. I must not have enjoyed it much, because I only tried once.

I might be tempted to try a skirmish game with Sharpes Practice some time in the future

Thanks for the suggestion

regards

Paulthistlebarrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00077298970769942656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-97754405909576170.post-13963155789351000332019-02-26T08:29:34.931+01:002019-02-26T08:29:34.931+01:00Looking forward to this new campaign, I've enj...Looking forward to this new campaign, I've enjoyed reading up on the previous one in southern Spain, Linares. The French really have a devil of a time dealing with those pesky guerillas! I wonder if Suchet will have learned a lesson from his previous misadventure. Maybe detach a cavalry brigade or two to guard the supply lines?

Have you considered gaming out the fights with the guerillas? Looks like there's ample opportunity for some small(ish) unit actions there. Yuri Wayfarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09956863628587595840noreply@blogger.com
