So I will answer it on my next blog.

Glad that you approve of the larger Orbat. It has worked very well for me, and opened a whole new range of gaming. In particular I have found a real role for the CinC. Having more figures on the table allows him to create a reserve or infantry, cavalry or artillery. This can then be used at a critical point to stem a reverse or exploit a gain. Very historical and very satisfying when I can get it right.

best regards

Paulthistlebarrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00077298970769942656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-97754405909576170.post-59636577013871496842021-06-20T15:12:08.407+02:002021-06-20T15:12:08.407+02:00Thistlebarrow,

It made a change to read about a series of wargames campaigns where both sides suffer similar casualties levels and where supply is important. Over the years I’ve seen other wargamer’s campaigns where one side is predominant from the start, and seems to be able to defeat an enemy without suffering many casualties or needing to maintain their supply lines.

I think that the changes you made before this current round of campaigns have really improved matters. The larger ORBATs certainly do make things more interesting.

All the best,

BobRobert (Bob) Corderyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13109130990434792266noreply@blogger.com
